BROKEN VASE

The phrase “broken vase” transforms into “broken phase,” using wordplay to reflect emotional growth after hardship — a symbol of someone who has been hurt, shattered by life, yet slowly finding the strength to heal. Though the cracks remain, they tell a story of survival, growth, and transformation. What was once broken is no longer seen as ruined, but as something rebuilding itself into a new form.

LOOK 1

This dress is inspired by the image of a broken vase — fragile, imperfect, yet beautifully reconstructed. The asymmetrical cut reflects the unevenness of broken pieces, while the asymmetrical opening at the waist symbolizes a visible fracture left exposed instead of hidden. Braid-like fabric details wrap around the silhouette like knots, representing the process of mending and holding something broken back together. Through structure and texture, the design transforms damage into something expressive, delicate, and strong.

LOOK 2

This clothing set is inspired by a broken vase, representing the journey from a “broken phase” to healing. The asymmetrical skirt symbolizes lingering wounds, while the more symmetrical top reflects recovery and balance. The jacket combines structure with an asymmetrical sleeve, showing that healing is not perfectly even. Braid-like fabric details act as knots, inspired by the act of repairing a broken vase, turning cracks into a symbol of resilience and transformation.
